Made in Italy design meets the spirit of the American West Coast, where in Santa Monica an original residential project designed by the Roman architect Livia Tomiselli of LTA+D has seen us collaborate in the search for the most suitable material.
Facing the bay, pampered by the waves of the Pacific, the three-level villa occupies a residence from the 1940s, of which they wanted to keep the original elements mixed with surprising furnishing solutions for the interiors in accordance with the passion for the art of owner.
In the name of the most exclusive artisan know-how, Pearl Gray stone was chosen as the most used material for floors and walls, changing finishes and combining them, both for interiors and exteriors. Different formats and thicknesses have been processed not only with particular machinery, but often manually to obtain unique pieces. With the same characteristics, the management and realization of the sumptuous kitchen project, using materials that do not present problems in contact with acids, proposing a Breccia Imperiale selected from several blocks and tested with numerous acidic substances.
The fireplace cabinet cladding is refined and has a particular design, selecting several blocks of Gray Stone with different colour tones combined with “open book”.
