Can Azul, Ibiza

Precious refuge on the island of Ibiza, the villa lives again in a newfound fluidity with the outside, thanks to the careful renovation designed by the architect Cristiana Izzi, founder of Studio BBK.

The renovation project has expertly enhanced the naturalistic vocation of the place, connecting the internal and external spaces, with the desire to make the landscape interact.

An objective also pursued in the work of research and in the selection of materials, maintaining the right balance between architecture and nature.

The stone, used in all outdoor areas, was selected from numerous blocks and worked in different formats and finishes obtaining a Roman Opus, a particular texture that requires the aggregation of four formats, while the floors and internal coverings were made in continuous surface personalized with the colours chosen and selected by the studio

BBK

Studio

Many words could be used to describe what BBK stands for: research, passion, actuality, attention, elegance, are just a few examples.
BBK was established in 2000 in Via della Frezza, behind Piazza Augusto Imperatore; in 2015 it moved to Lungotevere dei Mellini, in a space whose atmosphere is given by the encounter of self-produced pieces designed by the design studio, the recovery of furnishings from the past, and the selection of designers, companies and furnishing accessories.
A research rich in details that makes every project simple and at the same time sophisticated.
The BBK world embraces, welcomes and guides the discovery of taste, without ever forgetting the past, combining it with contemporary style to make each realisation unique.
At BBK Studio you can take advantage of the guidance of Architect Cristiana Izzi for the design of public and private spaces.
In 2015 the new BBK lab project was launched.
The space in Lungotevere dei Mellini becomes a meeting place for a series of appointments.
Discussions will be held on Architecture and Design, Art and Culture, Food, Hand Made, and there will also be workshops for children.
